Welcome to my website. I am a practising Blind Photographer and Educator in Disability Equality issues. My practice is based in Edinburgh, Scotland. I hope you enjoy reading and learning about the services I provide and the artwork I create.

I first set up my specialist Disability Consultancy over twenty years ago. Now I offer a broad range of bespoke artistic and business services. These include:

creating innovative photographic artwork;

providing guidance on fully-inclusive visual art exhibitions;

disability equality training for non-disabled people (especially arts organisations, companies and public bodies);

training in assistive technology for visually disabled people

and website evaluation in relation to access for visually disabled internet users.

Braille Translation Service Now Available for UK Galleries

In keeping with my belief that visual art events should be made accessible to visually disabled people, I now offer UK based art galleries a braille translation service.

The service includes:

• Braille labelling for individual artworks
• Braille wall panels
• Braille exhibition guides
•	Guidance on presentation

So, if your aim is to make your exhibitions fully inclusive, why not contact me for further information and pricing at: rositamckenzie@blueyonder.co.uk

Personal Philosophy

As a person who has been blind since childhood, I have many years experience of the financial and daily problems, physical and attitudinal barriers associated with disability.

The issues of access, equal opportunities, mutual respect, accountability and social inclusion are, therefore, central to my personal philosophy and professional practice.
